Small but not fragile, feisty but not yappy, pretty but not sculpted, Silkys are 10-inch-tall dynamos animated by curiosity and high spirits. The glorious blue-and-tan coat is straight and glossy, and it feels and behaves much like human hair. The wedge-shaped head is topped by profuse hair parted down the middle, and erect V-shaped ears draw attention to the keen, piercing expression of the almond-shaped eyes. Silkys are more refined than typical ratting terriers, but they should still look and behave like a true earthdog.
Besides being so very cute, the Mini Lop Rabbit is a favorite bunny because they are so sweet and cuddly. These rabbits will stay smaller than a regular rabbit and they make a great pet for children. They reach an adult weight of 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 Pounds. The Mini Lop Rabbit is lively and smart. Not only are they very “huggable” and playful, they are known to be successfully litter-box trained. They make great companions that like to interact and appreciate affection, and are often described as being like a pet dog. Both the Mini Lop and the Holland Lop are miniaturized versions of the Lop-eared Rabbit.
The Holland Lop is the smallest and the most popular of the lop-eared rabbits. A Holland Lop weighs around 3 – 4 pounds, for both the buck and doe. They come in a variety of colors. These are very mellow smaller rabbits that are easy for beginners to handle and care for. This is a very sweet and affectionate animal. They love to play and hop around. Holland Lops don’t require a lot of space and they eat less than bigger bunnies!
